Our inspiration shoot went AMAZINGLY well last night. The light was warm and soft, the weather was perfect and the details of all our hard work fell into place! This concept shoot has been in the making for a few months now and we can’t wait to reveal the whole thing very soon! You know me, I can’t hold back images for very long, so here’s a snippet of our lovely evening…
If you are wondering what an inspiration shoot is all about, I will explain. It is like a personal project, showcasing what wedding vendors in the State of Utah can do for your wedding day! We take an idea (it can be anything… like mountain wedding, or modern chic… in this case “ombré”) and let our creative juices take over.
In this specific shoot, we had 10 vendors participate, from florist to cake decorator, linen rentals to menu/invitation specialist…. and of course, a photographer! Once I post the full shoot, I will do a shout out to all the vendors who participated. They are amazing! If you are planning a wedding now, you should definitely check out their work! So what is Ombré? Well, if you haven’t heard about ombré yet, you mostly likely will. It is a super hot idea for weddings this year. The exact definition of ombré is this: ”Having colors or tones that shade into each other-used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark.”
Kind of fun, eh? You bet your bottom! Ombré is so versatile, the sky is the limit! And you can use any color combo you want… blues, pinks, yellows, etc. If you haven’t decided on your wedding decor and need a great idea..think about ombré colors and let the fun begin!
